The Bauer Supreme UltraSonic Intermediate Hockey Stick will make you think differently about hockey sticks. With it’s ACL technology mixed with the new Sonic Taper Technology, it will feel like your shots are flying off the blade with minimal effort. This powerful stick is ultra lightweight and not too bad to look at either.
Advanced Carbon Layering (ACL)
The ACL technology utilizes thinner, stronger carbon fiber layering that brings the weight of the overall stick down without sacrificing durability.
Asymmetrical TeXtreme
Another tweak to the stick is the asymmetrical texturing along the shaft of the stick. Bauer moved from square to rectangular shaped TeXtreme to improve energy transfer when shooting.
Sonic Taper Technology
First seen in the Supreme ADV model that was released last season, Sonic Taper technology is a revolutionary geometry that removes excess carbon fiber down the taper of the stick, while still maintaining strength and stability.
DuraFlex Resin System
This system is meant to withstand the increased stick flex that players experience these days by flexing down a tier for faster, harder shots. The resin is more resistant to impact stress and flex stress ultimately creating a more durable stick.
Stick Flex Profile
The mid kick point of the Bauer Supreme Ultrasonic mixed with the Sonic Taper Technology used down the shaft results in the most powerful and accurate shots.
Shaft Construction
The Ultrasonic shaft is made using Bauer’s pro level monocomp shaft technology along with Advanced Carbon Layering to provide durability and exceptional feel.
Blade Construction/Stiffness
The blade, similar to the rest of the shaft, is constructed using Advanced Carbon Layering technology (ACL) to increase durability and responsiveness. Additionally, FAST CORE technology has been used to help increase feel with the puck on your stick.
Graphics
Staying true to the Supreme line colour scheme the Ultrasonic dons the same black and yellow graphic as past models; However, this time Bauer has introduced a new flash of green to the mix to highlight the shaft.
Blade Patterns/Flex/Lengths
At the Ultrasonic price point – the P92M pattern option is available. The ‘M’ notation indicates max blade height for the P92 pattern. This is the maximum blade height allowed from heel to toe – ultimately creating more surface area for the player to make plays on the ice.
