The X2.9 intermediate composite goalie stick is a performance level stick in Bauer’s Vapor line. The X2.9 composite uses proven tech like Aerofoam in the blade an Innegra fiber construction to give a solid feeling stick at a more reasonable price point.
Shaft Construction
The shaft of the X2.9 intermediate goalie stick is a composite construction that features carbon weave to ensure durability over the life of the stick.
Paddle Construction
The Bauer X2.9 goal stick features a carbon composite paddle construction that has a focus on feel and flex to differentiate it from the Supreme line.
Blade Construction/Stiffness
Bauer has brought back one of their most popular materials in the blade of the X2.9 composite goalie stick. The Innegra fiber in the blade brings a strong stiff blade that does not sacrifice weight and unbalance the stick. The Aerofoam blade that the Innegra wraps around also contributes to a lightweight and active surface.
Graphics
The X2.9 intermediate composite stick is a white base stick that is available in a few different colours. These colors include White/Black, White/Red, White/Navy, and White/Blue.
Grip
The top of the paddle on the X2.9 intermediate composite goalie stick has Bauer’s Griptac for better stick control during play.
Blade Patterns, Paddle Lengths
The intermediate version of the Bauer X2.9 goal stick is available two different sizes, expanding from Bauer previously only offering one. 23” and 24” are both available. The stick will only be offered in the P31 curve.
