CCM Tacks 9080 Senior Hockey Stick

The Tacks 9080 Senior Hockey Stick will continue to use the same optimized mid-kick flex point we have come accustomed to in the Tacks line. The soft mid section allows for a longer loading period which increases the energy stored, while the stiff taper maximizes stability.

The shaft will be designed with the same X-Flow technology found on the AS1 stick. The idea behind the X-Flow process is to remove excess resin and voids when layering the carbon fiber sheets. This manufacturing method allowed CCM to shave 10g off the previous design while increasing fiber compaction.

Moving down the stick, the blade of the CCM 9080 Hockey Stick uses the same ACU2 blade construction found on the Super Tacks 2.0. This unique layup of materials provides an extremely stiff blade with great durability, offering better accuracy when shooting due to reduced blade deflection and a higher torsional rigidity.

The 9080 will be built up with CCM’s C6 weave on both the shaft and blade. This will provide an elite level of durability wile keeping the stick lightweight, coming in at only 460g.
