The TRUE Catalyst 7X SR Hockey Stick brings truly elite performance, durability, and shot power to this more approachable second price point. At an extremely featherlight 410 grams (85 Flex), this 7X is 40 grams lighter than the previous XC7 with the same damp blade feel and powerful shot release.
Stick Flex Profile
The Catalyst 7X Senior Hockey Stick features a mid-zone flex that loads easily. A stiff taper zone maximizes shooting and passing accuracy.
Shaft Construction
While TRUE’s signature Axenic one-piece construction has been one of the best in the industry for quite some time, the new PLD (Precision Layering Design) helps to elevate the performance even more. By using thinner, more advanced carbon layering patterns, the 7X requires less shaft materials to achieve the same durability, strength, and energy transfer properties as before for a drastic decrease in weight. This weapon is an astonishing 40 grams lighter than its predecessor XC7 in 2019.
The shaft shape is equipped with square corners and double concave inner walls to allow your hands to grip the stick nicely.
Blade Construction & Stiffness
The major improvements in the 7X can be found in the BAT and PASS blade technologies. The new BAT (Braided Aramid Technology) replaces the previous carbon supports with Aramid to reduce the overall weight without compromising the dampening properties. The PASS (Performance Advanced Strengthening System) uses a new foam core composition to ensure long-lasting durability and pinpoint accuracy when firing the puck.
Graphics
New to this season TRUE has introduced the Catalyst family, and with a new family comes new graphics. The 7X features a soft glossy black base with gold and white accents throughout. The sleek matte black blade pulls the entire stick together quite nicely.
Grip
The 7X features a soft gloss grip shaft to allow your hands to securely hold the stick at all times.
Blade Patterns, Flex & Stick Length
With the TRUE Catalyst 7X Senior Stick – the TC2.5T max height blade pattern is available. Popular with Pro players, this blade pattern is ideal for players looking for an edge in the face-off department and helps significantly with tipping pucks due to its increased surface area.

85 Flex (TC2.5T, TC2, TC4, MC, HCS), L/R – 60”
