The Ritual V1 Pro from Warrior is a composite goalie stick that succeeds, and exceeds the previous CR1 line. The V1 Pro shares many similarities with the CR1 and will offer a very similar package and construction for goalies that loved that stick, as many do.
Shaft Construction
The shaft construction of the V1 Pro has quite a few advantages that work in its favour. One of the most prominent is the VibexLite technology, which dampens vibrations from direct shots to a point that most composite sticks struggle to get to. The HiFused Construction also helps with the balance of the stick overall to ensure that the stick is not heel heavy. Finally an Impact Fiber layer has been added to help with durability from direct shots when you can’t get the blocker in front in time.
Paddle Construction
The paddle on the Warrior Ritual V1 Pro uses a few technologies to take it above and beyond the rest. The TwinSpar paddle construction gives the stick solid pop for a better shot, and the Minimus Carbon 1000 ensures a durable and light platform for excellent feel during play.
Blade Construction/Stiffness
The stiff blade of the V1 Pro is made with the same Minimus Carbon 1000 that the rest of the stick is. The consistency of having the same material top to bottom on the stick limits potential weak points, as well as providing a stiff solid surface that will deflect pucks with power to the corners.
Graphics
The V1 Pro senior goalie stick is available in 4 different colourways, Black/Silver, White/Silver, Silver/Red, Silver/Blue, as well as the option for custom sticks.
Grip
The SlideGrip on the V1 Pro is one of the best features for goalies that like to poke check. With a matte finish shaft, as well as a ridged side, the stick is extremely free to slide in the palm of your blocker. The bright section at the top of the paddle is a raised tacky grip zone that allows you to have a solid amount of control during regular play.
Blade Patterns, Paddle Lengths, Stick Lengths, Weight, Level of Play
The V1 Pro senior goalie stick is available in 25”, 26” and 27.5” with Quick (mid), Bishop (twist) and Mrazek (wedge) available for regular handed goalies.
